Wilderness Park is an incalculable asset to the citizens of Lincoln. It gives us a place to connect with nature while also helping to protect us from flood risk. There are so many reasons to protect this sacred space from encroachment.

Save the parks

Save wilderness park. Otis an amazing place to relax and decompress.

Places like Wilderness Park are important for our community.

Please leave what little bit that's left of natural nature alone.

Parks are for the people. Trails are for their enjoyment. Never consider taking that away. Instead, let’s create more. Green space is invaluable!

Is there really not enough empty land around Lincoln that you have to destroy this place? I think not.

This Lincoln gem needs to be preserved for all time. Allowing this development is going to take away from what the park is and open up future development that will also impact the park. The park is already sandwiched between a railroad and the highway, so there is no need add another major development that will no doubt impact what the park is and means us citizens of Lincoln that are frequent users off the beloved space. Yes we need housing but not there. That buffer needs to be maintained between the highway and railroad to keep this gem intact as Lincoln rapidly grows and soon encompass this beautiful place.

Let's prairie that acreage instead.

We need to make sure that Wilderness Park is protected from potential adverse effects of the zoning change. The zoning change must wait until we can ensure that Wilderness Park will not be adversely impacted.

I love this park have many memories here.

I oppose development near wilderness park

Wilderness Park is truly a special place and any rezoning and development to the areas around it needs to be done in a way that takes in to consideration the effects it may have on the park - not just because some developer has money to throw at it.
