I'm a former resident of Lincoln and currently live in Omaha. Wilderness Park is a great place and changing zoning around it would reduce it's usefulness as a wilderness

Housing developments on the edge of this great park is not wise planning. The ecosystem will suffer. For what? 500 apartments and office park? C'mon..Lincoln is better than this! Wilderness park is our crown jewel.

Wilderness Park needs to be protected. The rare ecosystem along 1st and Pioneers needs to be protected. 1st traffic is going to be a problem with a new housing development and then Old Cheney closing to the west of 1st to Hwy. 77, effecting Wilderness Park for sure.

Wilderness park is such a refuge for Lincoln residents! It is also where I discovered my love for running and is home to some much wildlife. There are endless reasons to protect this beautiful space!
