protect our green spaces and biodiversity. Some things cannot be undone, we have an obligation to protect Wilderness Park for future generations. Lincoln has a hundred other places they could put this development, please don’t jeopardize this priceless resource with steel and concrete.

Read the Comprehensive Plan's goals and policies that apply to Wilderness Park and see what the Planning Department ignored.

Any development or zone change that is this near to Wilderness Park needs to be thoroughly studied regarding future effects on this beautiful park. So tired of people just looking at financial benefits!

I love wilderness park and want it to stay as it is

Wilderness Park must be preserved. Lincoln is so fortunate to have it. It truly is a wilderness in a city. Absolutely amazing!

Wilderness Park is one of the few remaining places of isolation and contemplation, away from the noise and bustle of the city. It's a sanctuary for cranes, and Lincoln is already encroaching on so much wildlife, displacing foxes to the south of Lincoln where the beltway is already causing habitat loss. Leave our parks alone.

Keep Snell hill zoned AG! Protect this sacred land!

Wilderness Park was where I discovered my love for the outdoors after moving to Lincoln to go to UNL from the urban jungle that is Houston. Don’t take away this amazing, unique resource for future students and residents!

Keep the park.

Wilderness park has been my place to go for exploring nature, and hiking since high school. It’s an amazing place to see the ecology of our city, many species of mushroom, birds, and other fauna it amazes me every time I go. It would be sad to see this zone change pass.

PROTECT OUR EARTH.

This park is the only one of its kind in Lincoln and is a popular place for Lincolnite who live mature and serenity. Development will take that serenity away. Lincoln needs more parks like this one. Developers should look elsewhere.
