I have many great memories tied to the park and it is such a bueatyful place, I would hate to see it destroyed

When I first moved to Lincoln I was very impressed that such a wonderful park like Wilderness Park existed within a short bike ride from my home. There is a ton of value in having such a beautiful green space near a city and we should protect it. There are many other places that can be developed in Lincoln and it is unnecessary to endanger Wilderness Park.

We need to stop erasing our history with bulldozers.

Protect Wilderness Park!!!

Wilderness park is a special place and it needs to be protected! There are other places to build communities, leave wilderness park alone!!

Keep it wild

I am an environmental graduate student with work focused on the greenways of the Salt Valley including parks and all the people and wildlife that use them. Wilderness park MUST remain as wild as possible and away from new development. People seek retreat in this place and wildlife need it to commute from habitat to habitat. Please, reconsider the zoning to leave wilderness park untouched and not infringed upon.

I would like to continue to be able to ride horses there.

We don’t have many places to feel like we’re in the wilderness. Preserve habitats, and do the right thing by conducting appropriate research into the effects of new projects.

Keep Wilderness Park wild!

Wilderness Park was designed to be a wild habitat..."wilderness." Any business or commercial property that would be up against the borders of this area would create a significant change in the ability of the park to sustain the wildlife and structure that it has currently. We need to support more environmental structures, like parks, rather than more unnecessary commercial building, as there are plenty of locations that are currently empty that could be used instead of creating new ones.

Protect the Wilderness Park!

Please preserve Wilderness Park and the area around it.

Please consider the natural value of this land.

Please save this area both for the use of our indigenous peoples who have suffered such a long history of oppression and disenfranchisement. Also for the sanctity and beauty of wilderness park and precious green spaces that we have so few of.
