Wilderness park is a beautiful part of lincoln, don’t let it be touched!

Wilderness Park is our absolute favorite place in Lincoln, it does not need further encroachment of development.

Please keep this space open, wild and diverse. We don’t need anything else there.

More than ever we need to conserve and preserve our natural environments. Over 90% of Nebraska's land is used for cropland and agricultural production. Healthy lands, which benefit wildlife and humans, include diverse polyculture vegetation, a place like Wilderness Park. It's easy to tear something down with no thought. Growth takes awhile.

PLEASE DONT DO THIS. YOU ARE HYPOCRITES. YOU SAY YOU CARE AND THEN LET THIS HAPPEN.....ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOUR JOB AND YOUR SOCIETAL STANDING AND WHAT THE HIGHER UPS THINK OF YOU....I urge you to please listen to your gut...I'm sure you are all amazing people. But please I urge you to look past your position and please see this for what it actually is. It is complete destruction. I know it seems so small, they're just houses next to a park...but it goes beyond so much more that that. Please show us you care. Please show us you aren't just robots and hypocrites.

Wilderness Park is the best thing in Lincoln. I always recommend it to out-of-towners.

Do not ruin this beautiful park!

Please keep all developments away from wilderness park. We desperately need this space in Lincoln to remain untouched! The traffic alone would destroy the creature habitats along with the calm of the woods that so many seek.

These parks give me life and keep me a happy healthy citizen

I have deeply loved this area and it helped me get through college during the pandemic. It’s so sad that people want to destroy the things that can help heal us. This place needs to stay!!

I am currently living in Dubai, but when I heard about this proposition my heart sank. There is one place that I always believed to be the same when I come home & that’s wilderness park. I grew up walking, riding, resting, enjoying, thinking along those trails & park. I hope it will be protected & remain one of the only wild places left in Lincoln.

Save the prairie, save earth, save our souls.

Save the park!! Lincoln is growing to big and the wildlife have no where else to go!!!

This place is so important to me and our family. Please make wise decisions that don’t negatively impact the community asset. Thank you!
