Wilderness Park is a beloved area for the community and crucial for wildlife, plants and the critical Salt Creek ecosystem. It is one of the areas in Lincoln I treasure the most and visit weekly. Please exercise caution on any new development and permitting that could threaten this area in any way.

Lincoln needs this park. This park needs investment, for sure, but we really need this park if we are going to grow. If we just build more and more houses without major planned green spaces, we wind up with urban blight down the road. Keep Lincoln Beautiful!
