I think it's a worthy program for funding compared to some of the other things that money has been wasted on. And that really doesn't matter. This program really helps people. It really furthers other programs like it, and I think it should be very, very much so funded.

This is one of the most valuable programs you can offer! Nationwide there is a shortage of ALS interpreters, and all people deserve to be communicated with.

I was raised by a deaf mother, and asl in schools is vital for inclusion. Without hearing people being educated in the language the deaf community is isolated most of the time.

ASL is such an important language to learn to be inclusive with not only the Deaf and Hard of Hearing but also with so many other people who use ASL to communicate. Please keep this program at West!

ASL is needed, always has been always will be. I believe it should start being taught in elementary schools. ASL helps the hearing community understand and connect with the deaf community. It brings people together and we need that more than ever.

I have seen what this class has done for the students who have taken it. The people who have been blessed and helped by their ability and love of an ability to be of service.

Deaf people are valuable members of our communities. I use ASL every workday, it should be mandatory not removed!
