This emergency rule has no basis in fact and will have disastrous effects for trans Missourians.

It's just sickening we keep having to fight for decent human rights

Gender affirming care is a right. These restrictions are disrimination pure and simple.

This is a disgusting abuse of human rights. When did I wake up in Saudi Arabia???

The GOP keeps pretending to be the party for small government, yet they continue to insert the government into the personal decisions of people all over this state. Medical decisions belong to the person needing treatment and their medical team.

I’m a proud non-binary person who will always stick up for the transgender and non-binary people getting the care they need and deserve to live for WHO THEY ARE!!!!!

Bc someone I love is trans. Bc medical decisions must stay between patient and dr.

Everyone deserves health care

I am a registered nurse in the state of Missouri. Medical decisions should be between healthcare providers with medical degrees and appropriate training and their patients and NOT up to politicians who are creating laws not backed up by facts, medical studies and the recommendations of medical professionals. This “law” is dangerous, it will and has caused significant harm to members of the transgender community. I do not support this bill, there have been many study’s showing that gender affirming care saves lives. I

I wish all the transphobes could change their heart. We’re all human. We need love and compassion now more than ever.

This is a waste of state time and resources, designed to create a problem vs solving one. I trust Doctors to know what is right for a patient and know that politicians trying to score points with the most extreme voices should never intervene with them or their patients. I know several trans people and know they both are much happier and have much more successful professional lives after transitioning than before. If your goal is to stop people from making regrettable decisions then put the same restrictions on plastic surgery because that affects many more people. I know people who have gave their 16 year old daughter a boob job for her birthday, that is how much thought went into that life altering surgery that could have future health consequences.

Attacking trans people in this way is completely inhumane. The “logic” behind it is simply rooted in transphobia ignorance.

This is over reach by the a state government the likes that I have not seen in my 46 years on this planet. My child has become an enemy of the State of Missouri and is now in constant fear as an am I.

This is a horrible thing to do to so many good people and families.

Legislators in our state are woefully uninformed & uneducated about the facts on transgender youth

Medical decisions - all of them - are between a patient and doctor. Government has no place in it.

Stop trying to pass laws that hate people.

This is a targeted attack on a vulnerable population and I am livid about it.
