Keep healthcare between healthcare providers and patients. People need to be able to make their own decisions for themselves and their children without government involvement or overreach.

This an egregious attack on queer and autistic rights. This government has no right infringing on the rights of fully grown American citizens. Nor to deprive us of what is medically proven to be linked to neurodivergence and alleviating of severe dysphoria and depression. This act is anti-science, anti-healthcare, anti-queer, anti-humanist, and above all anti-American.

Stop using the shield of “protecting children”. You are clearly sacrificing children for your own political future. You are substituting your “values” for medical research and expertise. In your wake you will be responsible for more children with suicide and severe depression because evidence shows that this is result of denying gender conforming care for children who are medically and psychologically deemed to suffer from gender dysphoria. It makes me sick to know that you and our legislature are willing to sacrifice children for your political careers. One day the truth will be known and you will be unceremoniously be swept out of office.

As a parent of a 21 years-old adult trans son that came out when he was 12, I have personally seen how hormonal therapy has saved his life and improved his depression (that was negatively effected in the past by hatred and bigotry he faced). I don’t want to lose my son or anyone else lose a loved one due to an emergency order that makes a group of people feel like their state government wants to erase their existence.
