As Lostock Hall Prinary School are approaching Academy School status it is being proposed they would align the holidays with Poynton High. This would mean reducing the May holiday to 1 week. Please sign the petition if you would like the school holiday to remain as it stands.
The school have requested any objections should be emailed to them. This is just another way for the school to hear our opinions.
My kids really need that break in may to recharge before the final term. 2 weeks is way better than just 1 for a proper rest.

As a full time working single parent that shares 50% of holidays this not only wouldn’t suit the transition for a young child it would result in taking 15 days out of work over an already busy time for people being off; which in all honesty is not possible.
This is something I am strongly against to the point if it was to change we would have to review our options.

The 2 weeks together in the middle of the year is the perfect family time.
