It is so dangerous to allow buildings like takeaways &public houses to be regularly exposed to dirty floodwaters.
I myself will not risk my health by using these. These businesses could be relocated to empty properties in the town centre.

This planned bund will ruin the character of the river front in Dumfries. It is time the Council listened to the people they are supposed to represent.

Find another solution to the problem other than that awful proposed bund. Have a chat with Pickering Yorkshire who have sorted out a similar problem!

I have signed this petition in the hope that democracy is not dead. The people of Dumfies gave voiced their opposition to this plan since it was suggested, and have been subjected to the councils persistent propaganda and scare mongering. However the people thus time have said strong and are still highly opposed to the plans. Now begins the battle of officials dragging out any decisions in the hope the public will get fed up fighting. WE WILL NOT.
