I am 100% supportive of the values described in this petition and 100% opposed to any form of development that undermines them. The Mayor and City Council need to prioritize the Co-Op, and to listen to its leaders' concerns.

I bought my home on Sligo Crk. Pkwy. over 40 yrs., TPSS is and has been my place to shop weekly, even on Sligo Ave. (former location)...we need it!!!

The co-op is an invaluable resource to the families of takoma park- providing access to local, fresh, fair-trade products. It is a community gem, part of Takoma's history, and provides tangible benefits to the city. In the midst of this economic development and building-up of Takoma, it is essential to preserve community organizations like the co-op.
