Protect the Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-op

I shop at the Co-op every week, for almost all of my food. Please be sure to protect this precious resource.

I agree with and support the petition. I am a weekly shopper (member) and purchase goods that are not readily available elsewhere.

I know decisions are difficult but please maintain an accessible TPSS! We already lost our closest store in Silver Spring. Thanks.

So many of us depend upon the Co-op on a daily basis! Plus as a community owned store it is the epitome of LOCAL empowerment .

Please do all that's necessary to insure the Co-op stays at it's present location. My Mom is a long time resident and the store is in a great location for her.

I live almost in Takoma Park and the Co Op has provided me with some dietary needs that are not in any of the other local groceries.

The TPPS Co-op attracts a significant amount business also from the Washington DC sidee of Takoma!

The TP Coop is essential to get all the right grains for our gluten allergic family. I have to make my own bread with 8 different grains

As a long time resident of Ward 2 I view the CoOp as vital to the community and it must not be placed at existential risk by the development.

I agree wholeheartedly with the petition. I love the Co-op. Not only is it a walkable grocery store for TP residents, but it is one-of-a-kind and embodies the values that Takoma Park embraces. I am almost 50 years old, and I remember the Co-op from when I was little, before Whole Foods and other large scale organic, health-conscious stores. I moved away and came back, and was delighted to see that the Co-op was still there. Please do not put its future in jeopardy.

Please insure the continuity of the TPSS Co-op by not agreeing to any legal document with the developer until there is an agreement between the developer and the Co-op. Many Thanks.

I rely on the co-op in walking distance from my apartment for all of my grocery needs. It is critical that they remain fully operational during any development, and I would rather see the parking lot remain next to the co-op than development that jeopardizes this business which is more important than anything you will put on that site. Let's remember our Takoma Park values.

The co-op is an integral part of our community. Let's work together to ensure it has all it needs to survive and prosper!

Please protect the Co-OP so that there is enough room to park, walk up, have a loading dock and expand physical plant and parking. This business is a life and lifestyle affirming LOCAL business and is very important to your constituents/fellow citizens.
