My family has been going to the Co-op for years and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

TP S'S COOP is essential contributor to social, economic, community identity, vitality and future. DO NOT THREATEN OR NEGLECT THE COOP.

The Takoma Park co-op is, to me and to many others, THE most valuable business in our community. Its welfare is too important to be left to the discretion of the developer, which has not so far recognized the importance of the Co-op or the Development Agreement would reflect that already.

the co-op is a fixture in the community. it's the only grocery store that carries quality fresh fruit and veggies, as well as a phenomenal bulk goods section. i rely on the co-op as my local grocery store. it is a vital part of the community as well as the local economy. we need to ensure that the co-op is supported and continues to serve this community.

As a member of the co-op, I think it would be tragic if the City & Council ignore the concerns expressed by the co-op regarding actively working out the needs of ensuring it's continued existence up front in writing vs throwing this thriving business to the clutches of big developers to fend for themselves.

Indeed, the City leaders cannot move forward to business agreements without including the needs of the existing resources of the Junction, particularly those of the coop.

The co-op is an asset to the TKPK community. So (potentially) will the redevelopment of the parking lot be. However, losing the co-op in the process of developing the lot is counterproductive. And having the co-op negotiate directly with the NDC seems to be an odd choice. The co-op is unlikely to have anything to bargain with, and the NDC is the only party asked to give. It's the city that has the power to get both sides to come up with solutions.

I LOVE THE CO-OP. This place has been a staple of my time here in Takoma Park, the city would not be the same without it.

One of the staples of Takoma Park would be a shame to see it go!

The Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op is very important to this community and it must remain accessible for our service.

The Co-op's needs should be the top priority for the development of Takoma Junction. Do not sign any agreement that does not include the basic parking, space, and interim operations accommodations for the Co-Op.

The Coop is a fundamental part of the Takoma Park identity.

Having been a Takoma Park resident since 1992, I have relied on the co-op more times than I can count and feel that removing the TPSS Co-Op from our city is a huge mistake. Finding a way to co-exist with whatever ends up across the street would only enrich the lives of people in our city. Removing the co-op would be a foolish decision.

Any decision that hurts this Takoma Park institution is the wrong one.
