Like the loss of the wall mural across the street from the TPSS Coop, to open the Coop to possible risk of viability does not recognize its place as an valued institution in TP.

The coop is an integral part of Takoma Park

The Coop is a reason we chose to live in the Takoma Park community.

The coop is an asset. It's in walking distance and provides quality products. Extremely convenient. Would hate to see it fail.

Our extremely important TP business must continue to thrive. Please work out development "details" to insure Co-op viability before signing Agreement! George & Marcie, Albany Ave.

Any attempt to put a loading dock on the Sycamore Ave side of the coop would be disastrous.

Former resident of Takoma Park AND Silver Spring. TPSS coop was where we shopped.

The co-op is an extremely valuable anchor and important amenity in our community. As a local architect, architecture professor and resident, I strongly support this petition. If the table is not set via a contract and clear program requirements from the get-go to support the co-op's viability, there is no guarantee of its survival.

Dear Mayor Stewart and TkPk City Council members, I urge you to please consider the importance of the TPSS Food Co-op to our little city. It provides affordable, healthy and often locally produced food options within walking distance to Takoma Park residents. The co-op's requests are few and reasonable. Please make sure their needs are met before signing any agreement with developers. Thank you, Catherine O'Sullivan

The Coop is the priority not the development or the developer. If choice between the coop and developer City must walk away.

The TSPP Co-op is a staple of Takoma Park & one of my favorite places to shop. I frequent it regular for natural items I can't find elsewhere. Please help them to keep their business going. Thank you.

It's absolutely essential that the City Council make these guarantees to the Co-op and to the community at large BEFORE it signs any agreement with the NDC. The survival and health of our Co-op is not negotiable! Thank you.

Recognizing the priority of the Co-op as an anchor business, and loyal business, in Takoma Park has to be evidenced with advance safeguards securely in place that allow the Co-op to be viable BEFORE any Takoma Junction development occurs.

As a former City Council member, I urge the Council to do everything possible to keep the Co-op paramount in any development plans.

The co-op is a model of what ethical business looks like in the dc area and it would be a travesty to lose it over poor civic planning. Due diligence is crucial here.
