Gender is a social construct. Sex is biology!!

I have a quickly scribbled statement: Gender is a social construct, a cultural system, not unlike religion. Therefore there should be a separation between state and gender as there is with state and religion. The government and the law should avoid reference to gender and should provide non-gendered facilities and services. Spaces such as public bathrooms should be universal spaces that feel private, safe and functional for whoever uses them. The right to existence of sports teams, health facilities, shelters, prisons and other groups, programs or facilities that define their exclusivity by biological sex or gender defined at birth should be protected under freedom of association, just as the same right exists for people to associate or not on the basis of gender.
