As a realtor and home owner in the NNK I can fully see how this will negatively affect the desirability of the area and therefore affecting all other that businesses that follow after the sale of a home such as contractors, home improvement purchases, etc. Real estate drives EVERYTHING and this will NOT help the recovery of a market that is still struggling to recover.

Dominion needs to think long-term here. In the end, the public pays for the line improvements anyway, since they are a publicly regulated company. Listen to what the people think. The VMRC may have said ok, but this does not fall in their area of expertise.

The river and the bridge are beautiful. These towers will only serve Dominion Power's bottom line. The construction permit should be repealed.

We moved here for the natural beauty of the land and water and this will spoil that.

I live in western Loudoun County, but spend a lot of time the Northern Neck. The view of the bluff going east on the Norris Bridge always drops my blood pressure by 20 points. To ruin that view, for now and the future, is a travesty. We have Dominion here too, and you can see their handiwork across the farms here. They have no sense of beauty and put their wires and towers anywhere they want because they are the power company. They put up some new wires across our farms and they are dog ugly. They could have strung them on the road, but not Dominion, they just pulled them across our farms. They remind me of the "old" Ma Bell antics when they were the only game in town. Maybe it is time to replace Dominion Power with a company that pays attention to its customers, not their bottom line....haha...funny "bottom line"....which is where they should be putting the new lines...on the bottom of the river!!
