We have a beautiful home that overlooks the river at the bridge. Please put these towers underground. Do not spoil the amazing view!

I drive across this bridge every day and I marvel at the beauty of the Rappahannock River. Please do not spoil this with these towers! This is why we moved here. Put it underground.

Our home lies several thousand feet from the bridge and I cannot even imagine our river view being spoiled by these towers. Why do all of the other river crossings have underground power lines? VA Power states that if there is an issue with the lines, the repair time would be increased drastically. Was this not a consideration for the other 3 bridges I can think of off the top of my head, (Coleman, Nice and Pamunkey)

No towers! The GA needs to stop being bed fellows with Dominion power (referring to a recent Daily Press article) and preserve our scenic waterways.

The transmission lines should be placed underwater for reasons other than esthetics. The lines could be seen as hazards for navigation from the water as well as from the air. Exposure to the transmission lines have been linked to many health hazards for humans as well as wildlife and should be enough justification for placing the lines under water.
