Protect the Rappahannock River oppose Dominion Power's new transmission line

To further degrade the Rappahannock for the industrial needs of our power company is insulting and just stupid. Put the power lines under the river where it belongs.

Come on Dominion/Va Power, how about good old "Common Sense".

After 35 years of painting our beloved Chesapeake Bay and her tributaries, chiefly among them the Rappahannock River, I gladly add my support to the "No Towers" effort. The huge structures proposed by Dominion would clearly degrade the handsome Norris Bridge and its magnificent river views! I see no reason to deviate from the subterranean lines which have been successfully used elsewhere.

Do not destroy our oyster beds!

They are going to ruin middlesex natural beauty if they keep these antics up. Its not like the population out there and soaring high lol

Come on VA Dominion Power, do the right thing! You have done it for all other counties that have bridges why not ours? You are supposed to be stewards of the environment and it's beauty, not spoilers with ugly towers that hinder the beautiful view of our waterways especially the Rappahannock River of the Northern Neck of VA. We are talking $.03 cents more in our utility bills, I think we can handle it.

Surely there is a better way than this!

These towers must not be allowed to spoil our beautiful view introducing the Northern Neck to others!

The Rappahannock is still the most beautiful and pristine river in VA. Let's keep it that way!

I am against the building of towers across the Rappahannock River. They will senselessly destroy the beauty of the river and could be placed underground out of sight instead.

This bridge belongs to us, not Dominion Power. They intentionally fastracked and underhandedly managed to get approval of these overhead power lines and even went as far as to post a full page add filled with misleading statements and outright lies. I do not want the view obstructed by massive towers and drooping power lines when I cross the bridge.

The actual cost estimate for placing the lines underground is not being published by Dominion Power.

I strongly oppose construction of the towers. Please put them underwater as you have done with almost every single other bridge in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

If the real issue is cost, Dominion should be more transparent about what the true impact would be to rate payers.

I see NO reason why putting the lines underground after reading all the info available!

Put'm under water and share the cost state-wide like the Yorktown river crossing

Placing these lines underwater maintain the beauty of this area.

Having lines above water will make bridge replacement much more challenging and costly. VDOT & Dominion best put their heads together and plan for the future.
