We the undersigned hereby strongly urge our elected representatives to purchase and protect the iconic POOLE PROPERTY for future generations to come.

At the Rio Grande OXBOW WETLANDS, the Poole Property must become a PUBLIC AMENITY, not a housing development.

Our Governor and other elected officials successfully allocated funds to PURCHASE it. Now, we urge officials to follow through NOW.

Our representatives MUST act now to complete its PERMANENT PURCHASE. They have a duty to invest in their promises to protect natural spaces that contribute to the outdoor economy and the wellness of every New Mexico resident.

We support the PURCHASE of the POOLE PROPERTY — NOW!

It’s an extraordinary place along rare and irreplaceable wetlands and Bosque habitat will otherwise be gone forever unless officials ACT NOW.
