A Residential Road, a School, Landscapers, home gardeners, mailboxes and not to mention Deer! A long time gardener who was part of the neighborhood family tragically was hit by a car on this stretch of road. A blind hill, cars use like a highway. Please help us to make our neighborhood more safe and honor the lives which have been tragically lost due to this busy road. Thank you. RIP Sal.

Narrow shoulders and drainage ditches line the road, making it difficult for pedestrians and cyclists to travel this stretch of road without being put in harm's way by speeding motorists. It is only a matter of time before the next preventable tragedy if nothing is done to improve safety here.

The township bicycle path study called for a bike path along this very stretch of road that would connect it to other bicycle paths. That path has never been built.

Pa drivers are so aggressive
Drive to Princeton every morning to work. The always pass on the right and speed as much as they can push never any police! Need signage no passing on the right!!!

Every time I drive this stretch, or my son bikes to a friends at Province line road, I feel I am risking well-being. Just last night a car was tailgating me the entire stretch after the bridge, as I held to 40. It’s dark, and with no shoulders, and at high speeds it’s simply too dangerous.

The 45 mile per hour speed limit on Mercer Road is too fast for a residential area with many small children.

Strongly support safety study for this stretch of road. Beyond speed change, the addition of permanent passive safety features should also be considered (like sidewalks or flexible pole lane dividers installed at edge of road to separate cars from bike lanes, rumble strips before entering residential area, wide speed bumps or other passive features).

Thank you for doing this. It's SUCH a dangerous stretch of road. Far too many people have died. A single death is too many. I hope the municipality will take our concerns seriously, before there's another death.
