Remove the dictators from their crooked thrones

At the very least, there needs to be an in-depth, independent, unbiased, competent investigation into what Stephen Easton and Dragseth are doing. But never count on a non-corrupt, fair, honest, competent investigation in North Dakota.

Just last year the presents excused the fact that his staff had went against dsu code and told me that it won’t happen again but there was nothing he was going to do. And later down the road it happened again. Ever since have not liked our president and the things he does behind the students back

You're not the first person to ask about Dr. Grulke. I did not find evidence that she participated in the included incidents. If NDUS and the SBHE investigates further, it will be up to them to decide who has acted ethically and who has not.

As a parent of a biology major student I am very disappointed at the stance of DSU with the current condition. This will not only affect the seniors this year but many students that would have come but now have little to no faith in the current administration

I have been disappointed in this administration for years. Back when I attended there was a staff member sleeping with my (ex) bf. I had mentioned something about it to a student, who then told a staff member. They requested I come into a meeting. When I came in the room they were recording me and told me they I had to say “I will stop talking about this incident” or else they would sue me for slander & kick me out of college (that I paid cash for). This administration is trash and has been for quite some time. I’d also like to mention that said staff member spoke about this off campus & a man came up to me and mentioned it to me at a company Christmas party I attended with my husband. Unfortunately, a lot of the staff do not care about their students and are extremely selfish. I won’t even get into the sexual harassment I received from a psychology professor. Things need to change. I would never recommend anyone attend this “university.”

We must as parents fight for the removal of these liars and academic corrupters , this is very serious and therefore they must be removed!!!

All of education kindergarten through doctoral degree needs a serious overhaul. America has went from 1,2,3rd place (aka excellence) in the world in sciences and mathematics to mediocre. What passes for education or educated now days leaves serious room for vast improvement. My son attended DSU for a while and I saw 1st hand what a failure the upper education system is.

Thank goodness that the students have stepped up to stop this foolishness. DSU has had too many Presidents that act like they are the best person for the position, as we see again this was bologna again. I had hope in Easton the elders of his family he himself and his son went to school at DSU but I guess I was wrong, he did his job for about 3 months and the same old song and dance again. When the school year started in the fall after being shut down for CoVid I saw Deb Dragseth… I said “ you are the one person that can save this school from a hideous mess since the pandemic, she told a different story prior to her getting the VPAA position everything that she said she didn’t want to see at DSU has happened she her appointment. She sold the DSU out mainly every student. The beauty of a smaller college is the professors know your name not just a face, read the above mentioned “letter” from Paula Martin. Let’s really examine what Murphy Hall was intended to be… not changed to a different program.

I hope SBHE and NDUS take this seriously. It seems obvious there is a problem with the administration at DSU and the students need to keep voicing their opinion. I support this petition 100%. There would be a lot more evidence of these violations if employees were not fearful of retaliation.

I’m glad to see students and faculty standing up for themselves. Perhaps a suggestion, it seems the system is the issue, not those who are put into the system to be corrupted. This will not end until students and faculty engage policy making from a direct democracy perspective. Currently, a few administrators make decisions for the entirety of student body and faculty. The reality is that the product of labor, education, is administered and directed in a completely undemocratic fashion. It is clear, having witnessed several DSU scandals, that democratic checks and balances are in order. After all, aren’t you folks the ones with the most to lose?
