Everything stated here is the truth. NDUS SBHE continues to cover up all these issues at Dickinson State by changing their compliance charter and limiting the ability of complaints to be investigated.

Dr. Martin’s letter is evidence enough for me. The exceptional education offered by the Dickinson State Natural Sciences department was a sheer anomaly, for both large and small universities alike. The aforementioned professors that have suddenly resigned had a huge impact on my life and my career. They made me much more competitive in graduate school than most students. It is largely because of them that I am a candidate in my PhD program and will be graduating next year. Many of my classroom peers are now surgeons, research scientists, vets, and PhDs. I am deeply saddened by this news. But, have hope Blue Hawks. We will weather the storm, just as we always have. Keep fighting the good fight. This effort gives me hope.

I’m signing this petition as I’m nearly completed with my junior of my program and it seems as if half my professors are trying to “punish” us students with unreasonable requests even following COVID-19. I feel for the amount of money I’ve already spent and have on loans are almost being wasted. It’s very clear to me that either some of the professors either can’t handle their work load or they simply stopped trying to teach. Often those professors (not all) that have stopped trying don’t even follow their guidelines including the recording of lectures which is as students should be able to watch countless times because we are paying for the entire class not just part of it.

I fully support this moment for the students!

Not to have belief, integrity, and security in your schooling and the entire staff is very hard to continue to move forward with confidence, that is a real shame. Hopefully they will make changes well needed and get it together.

This university needs to have an adequate science program to continue to keep enrollment numbers up. These students are deserving better than how they are being taken advantage of by this university their futures depend on this program continuing
