A bike path through the memorial area would be disrespectful and would disturb those who are trying to have a moment of quiet in remembrance of a loved one.

leave the memorial alone. these men gave everything for us, the least we can do is let them have their peace without bikers zooming past.

To those who served with these men, and lost Brothers that morning, the Beirut Memorial is Hallowed Ground, not just a Tourist Attraction. I have taught my children to render the appropriate respect since they could talk. They did what their country asked them to do, now please just show respect to their Memorial.
