I object to the release of Green Belt which should be protected from any building development and kept for positive environmental benefit. The South East is over developed.

Our countryside all around this beautiful area is gradually being eroded. This must be stopped or before too long all around here will just become another suburb of London.

I understand that we have a district plan that defines areas available for development and that this development is not in one of those areas. It is not acceptable to sacrifice green belt when there are other parcels of land available.
Furthermore, you should not underestimate the profound sense of loss that we in St Giles would feel if the independence of our beautiful village is destroyed by merging it into a town along with neighbouring villages.

We don’t want or need this development .the green belt should be kept in tact as this will be the thin edge of the wedge.
Will totally over load schools ,

how about the ground aside the doctors surgery - where affordable houses were built way back and also nearer all shops bus route etc not stuck up at the back of High View.
The road a High View is not suitable for all the traffic and also will reduce the value of the existing properties.

Our lovely village just can't take anymore residents, the roads have become very dangerous with traffic and parking. Leave our Green Belt alone, there won't be anything left to call green.

Chalfont St Giles is an historic village which would lose all it's importance as such, if green belt land is developed creating a solid link to surrounding villages. Also, the schools, doctors surgery and local roads are at full capacity and cannot begin to cope with a significant increase to the village population.

I strongly oppose the removal of green belt land in and around the historic village of Chalfont St Giles. The schools, doctors surgery and local roads cannot support any more significant population growth.
