A ridiculous place to build without suitable infrastructure. Too much uphill walking for the elderly. Problem families from urban areas would be bored out of their skins. Somehow I do not see them joining the Gardens Association or helping with the Literary Festival.

Please Local council read the comments and act in caring professional manner. affordable housing yes but not the first scheme you come up with in such and totally amateurish unprofessional manner.
Pay the developer Negotiate for them to pay the council. Try to preserve as much as possible of the charm of St Giles for those that follow us.

I cannot believe that in this day & age you still plan to build on grate belt. When there are so many brown areas around!

Totally in appropriate to have such a large development in our village. We need to balance the need to build new hones whilst also protecting our environment. Green belt is not yhe answer. Use browm field sites.

The Green Belt is under attack from many quarters and needs to be strongly protected. The site selected is totally unsuitable for the intended local purchasers of afordable housing, being on top of a steep hill.

I feel the location is totally unsuitable away from all the amenities and at a top of a hill! (Which in winter is a nightmare!)
Not to mention overloading the capacity of doctors surgeries, local schools, and local railway parking. The roads leading to the proposed site are totally unsuitable & would put further strain on the road system which is in place at the moment. Also
taking land away from the Green Belt which could never be replaced!

Green belt is precious. You never get it back, or the ecosystem it supports. The land was designated Green Belt for a reason. This shouldn’t be overturned on a commercial whim, however well purposed
