Protect St Giles Green Belt

Having lived in CSt Giles from 1970-1988,and having served on both the Parish and District Councils during that time ,I know only too well how important it is to retain the Green Belt, and therefore support this effort to stop developers from desecrating all that makes C St G the village is now and always has been.

Green belt should remain as such

The National Planning Policy Framework, which all local authorities must observe, states in Paragraph 136 - "Green Belt boundaries should only be altered where exceptional circumstances are fully evidenced and justified, through the preparation or updating of plans." Has Chiltern District Council produced fully evidenced and justified exceptional circumstances for this development? If not, then the application should be rejected immediately. If it's not in the Neighbourhood Plan it should be rejected immediately. It's an easy decision for the Planning Officer to make!

Wrong place to build this sort of housing.

How dare Paradigm try to remove the Green Belt status on land in CSG. It would ruin our lovely village. Not to mention traffic chaos on Stylecroft and Kings Road and leading onto the A413.

We need to protect our green belt. The village does not have the infrastructure to cope with such a housing development.

This would ruin the very special village of Chalfont St Giles & lead to further erosion of beautiful villages by not respecting green belt

Maintain the Green Belt. The village infrastructure cannot cope with this level of development.

I strongly disagree with the proposed development on the green belt land

There is already to much traffic for a small village and getting a doctors appointmet is impossible, Leave the greenbelt for poeple to enjoy as it was meant to be

Green belt land must not be used for building and should be preserved. There are plenty of brownfield sites that can be used for building without damaging our precious countryside

Is this necessary? Already putting pressure on infrastructures, roads, schools not to mention wildlife habitats

I moved into the area for it's vast green areas and natural wild life. The fact that I have all sorts of animal pop nto my garden is great, this will surely disappear if green belt areas are developed on, and a definite NO to affordable housing, St Peter's is already suffering with crime on the rise due to similar properties in the area.

Green Belt !

Already disgusted with the unapproved demolition of what barely remains of the ancient woodland adjacent to us Turners wood, the number or deer and badgers, bats, other wildlife displaced with nowhere else to go was horrific ... 9 badgers killed on the A413 in just 3 months following this. Now there is the HS2 " temporary village ..... 5 YEARS" behind us on Turners wood farm .... and now a plan to build a road from the A413 to the HS2 village ? All of this within spitting distance of where Paradigm want to build houses. Is too much. Not just for the social aspects of schools, doctors, dentists, traffic and parking etc etc. As important, where is our wildlife supposed to live in any relative peace? Owls, bats, foxes, deer, badgers, bees, grasshoppers, mice, voles shrews .... there has to be space left for them. It is not all about us.

Please reconsider approving the planning application from Paradigm to save our precious environment from further congestion and the destruction of woodland, hedges, and affect this will have on wildlife.The Kings Road junction is a nightmare at the best of times - with even more traffic trying to exit on to the A413 an accident is waiting to happen
