The dream is one of my favorite places to fish. I like fishing there for the solitude but when the spawn begins you start to see a lot of anglers that have poor ethics and respect towards the fish, fisherman and the environment. It's getting to the point where I want to waste my time going there. I feel this would help the ecosystem and the overall well being of the river.

With all the bs that our country has and ourselves personally, please allow mother nature to run her course.

This is an amazing place that can be conserved for years to come, with the right regulations and enforcement, places like the Dream on other great fisheries can thrive and be healthy for years to enjoy.

Agreed 100%. Too many people out snagging trophy fish that aren’t eating.

Great idea, and probably long overdue. He's hoping we get it done.

I'm all for the pursuit of trophy size trout in the Dream, but if decline of the breeding environment continues to detrement these trout we love so much then clearly the current process must stop. Don't be the next generation to turn your head to changes that hold potential to truly help protect our finned friends.

I have been fishing the Dream Stream for approaching two decades and have seen the decline in both the fall Brown run and the spring Rainbow run, and it's time to protect this valuable resource with some quality PROTECTED spawning areas just like the Fraser, the Colorado and others.

If this was alberta or bc it would be closed during spawning season- spring or fall. Simple as that. You love fish- don't whine.
