This is a FANTASTIC idea!! I stopped fishing the brown run a couple years ago because of the idiots raking redds. We call them the bonerstorm, and it gets worse every year. The storm keeps growing. Let em spawn in peace!! ✌

As the population grows, it becomes imperative that we protect our wilderness and our wildlife for future generations. Our wilderness areas have shrunk as urban development has grown, so we need to thoughtfully protect our wildlife. By allowing the trout to naturally spawn and reproduce, we help assure the survival of these fish. Much an more can and should be done, but this is a great place to start.

There's nothing better than catching brown trout and lots of them. I'll support this petition for that very reason, so I can continue to catch plentiful, healthy brown trout for years to come...not only on the dream, but that seems like a smart choice to start.

I believe in closing off a section in the river to allow the fish to spawn as it is healthy for the population to thrive.

Please close the upper stretches, I'm tired of watching guides and clients target spawning fish for the big grip and grin photo. Also many uneducated anglers walk across beds without knowing better

A long time coming. As long as this is done in a right and fair way. My family and I enjoy this fishery a great deal and it's devesting to see what these fish have to endure each spring and fall due to anglers. This would be a great first step!
