this is an important issue mining in this town is instrumental in lowering our property values if u lived near bonded u would know what I mean another issue is the dangerous amount of unsafe trucks in an out of bonded on 43 and 150 over there years there have been many people killed on both those roads from trucks loaded with asphalt or sand and gravel

Sadly, grandfathered mines will not go away, but every effort should be made to require new mines to apply for a special use permit, particularly in areas designated residential. There should be the opportunity to curtail new mining in residential developments. Attended a public hearing - there was nothing overly onerous or much of a change in the new code. It is time to update & standardize the zoning ordinance.

Sand Lake needs to approve this petition. We're all for commerce and a good tax base. However, let's keep our town a town where people can live without having to live in an industrial environment.

There has been more than enough discussion of the proposed code changes. It is time to adopt the code and protect our property values

We currently have put our plans on hold to build a house in Sand Lake because of the mining situation. If it goes through WE WILL NOT become residence of Sand Lake!

I believe the proposed zoning regulations strike a fair balance among the various interests and protect the future of our town.

Pond Hollow Estates, Averill Park The decrease in our property value, our well water becoming increasing lower and possibly polluted, and the dust we have to breath from this is becoming too much! Enough is enough!!!
