Please leave the Farmers Market for now and the future.

Please preserve our beautiful farmers market. It has long been a place for community gatherings and it would be such a shame to lose that for ourselves and future generations. Especially to put a hotel there, which is not even needed, and will take away from the warm feel our small hometown has. Please leave it alone.

So many memories! My parents and Grandparents lived in Salem. I grew up in Salem . Don't take the Farmers Market away !

We moved to Salem because of it's beauty please do not destroy it.

I am a Born and Bred Salemite! I am always there as often as I can be, to Support events, Go to the Farmers Market as often as I can, even though I live out of town! Being a "True Salemite", having those roots of my Heritage means the world to me!! To Destroy the Structures and Remove our Heritage, would be a TRAVISTY! The idea Appalls me! There are other places to put a Hotel that would not destroy our City! To destroy the True Salem Structure is like Destroying the "OLD GLORY OF OUR NATION" or telling The HOKIES there is no longer a VIRGINIA TECH! "SAVE OUR SALEM FARMER'S MARKET!"

No to a hotel. Shame on you!!

I go to the market to get fresh food and taking it away is a bad idea.

I wait all year for the veggies and fruit sold at the Farmers Market. And the Christmas tree and the fall items. Please save our Farmers Market!!! Thank you

This is part of our community, and draws folks to downtown as well. We need this tradition and access to fresh veggies, etc, and hometown feel.

The Farmers Market is so precious. My dad who has a home in Salem always loved it so much. He went and got produce, listened to ,talked to the sellers and friends that went. You are tearing down many hearts of the older generation if you pull this down. I myself love GARDEN items bought from the market. Get a grip....you xharge so much for taxes if you keep tearing down things these people love they may just leave.

Keep the Farmers Market historic just like you would anything else in Salem. There are plenty of other places in Salem for a hotel.

The Farmers market has become a central meeting and events location of Salem. Please do not destroy this Salem tradition.

The leaders of Salem does whatever they want to do. They don't give a rip about the desires of the citizens.

The Farmer's Market is one of those places that lends it's history to Salem's tight community feel. I have many fond childhood memories. I know I'm not alone when I say I'd be more than devastated if this was destroyed, for ANY reason!

Salem market is so convenient for people in salem great for the economy as well
