Protect Rural Farnham

it is inconceivable to destroy such a historic landscape for a new major road

We must stop a western bypass. It really won’t help save our planet and will just cause more road congestion. Look what happened in Newbury. Within a couple of years there was more traffic on the local roads then before the bypass. We need to encourage alternative ttravek and lifestyles

We need to focus on reducing travel not putting in a bypass to increase travel and ruin the environment.

The idea of a new bypass is complete madness , it will increase pollution , ruin the countryside peoples homes and livelihoods

This would be devastating for the historic village of Crondall.

We should be protecting our environment, not destroying it for another road

Completely oppose route planned through Farnham Old Park, plus request review of data/commuting traffic projections to encourage more localised travel.

I love running through the Farnham countryside and this proposed bypass would cut directly through the route I’ve come to love so much whilst studying in Farnham. Please don’t let this go ahead

Please don't do this. Farnham has the most beautiful setting. The Park is a fabulous amenity enjoyed by all age groups. Let's keep it that way.

Be good if the planners could look at other ways to cut conjestion in the town without building another bypass. We need to be mindful of the environmental impact of destroying the countryside. Of

I thought current environmental policy was to deter road use not encourage it.

The destruction of such beautiful land around Farnham would be a tragedy of our generation if it went ahead.

The natural environment needs to be assessed before destroying it for another road system. We should be reducing the number of vehicles not finding more places for them to go!
