my daughter attends lessons provided by the council but didn get her into the next group bcoz it was full so y ban private lessons if there is kids missing out

Little Flippers 0-4 are not having their hire cancelled, all other lane hire is being cancelled and new excessive charges and conditions applied to private 1 to 1 and 2 to 1 teachers.

Shame on the Council. You must retain this service. My children gave hugely benefited from private swimming lessons.

The main people bring disadvantaged here is the children. Especially the children with special needs that would not be able to cope with the larger groups the council run!!! My child has glue ear and finds it difficult to hear in the pool with the acoustics, he would have struggled immensely in a large group, hence why I sent him to Ripples. What about the young people with autism, ADHD etc who require 1:1, that the leisure centre can not provide!!! Disgrace that these children have to suffer.

Where are these children going to get swimming lessons now as it obviously suited parents to bring them privately!! Still time to rethink SuperCouncil!!

Total disgrace, these lessons have really benefited my son, the council needs to realise the mistake they have made and the impact it will have by implementing these changes.

Little Flippers have excellent teachers and there should always be a choice of swimming lessons provided.

Give swim tutors a fair chance to provide these lessons and teach our kids vital skills.

Swimming lessons are vital for kids in the Down Area. Ripples are very professional and provide essential skills for kids.

why do they always feel that councillors know better and they are always trying to fix something that isn't broken. My kids tried the group lessons they just weren't focussed enough and they weren't progressing. Let these instructors doe their jobs and earn some money.
