Another example of people making decisions without the consideration of rate payers. What will they be saying to us when they are looking for votes!

The decision to impose these retrictions on private tuition are potentially dicriminatory as some children with additional needs can only cope with 1to1 sessions. Are their needs going to be ignored?? A disgraceful move by the council.

Jonathan at Ripples has not only helped my daughters swimming skills but also her confidence she has achieved so much since going ripples and she is devasted at this decision. I am completely appalled there is very little in the down district area for kids and anything that there is is being taken away from them. The council should be totally ashamed of themselves.

Approx 100 swimmers from our swim school alone will be left without their swimming lessons because of these crazy charges imposed on private teachers and a booking process that makes it impossible to function as a business!! The private teachers are offering a quality service that is high in demand, an individual service that is currently not met by the current leisure centre lessons.

I am frustrated by the council plans to implement unfair changes to the provision of private swimming lessons. It shows a total disregard for rate payers, parents and children. I would like to thank Ripples for the fantastic work they have done with my daughter in teaching her to swim. They have given her a gift for life.

classes essential, as not only teach children 2 swim & build confidence - but with this knowledge given 2 the kids, it could actually be life saving.

Completely disgusted with the new changes to be implemented from 8th April as per the letter we received from the Assistant Director of Leisure and Recreation on 27th March 2015. The excessive charges and new booking process make it impossible for us to continue to provide quality lessons to local children and adults.

Without Doreen and Elaine's tuition and guidance my 2 kids wouldn't be at the stage they are now. This is an invaluable asset to a lot of parents and as such should be allowed to continue. There are going to be alot of unhappy parents and children if this proposal goes ahead!
