This is an utter disgrace. My daughter has 1 to 1 lessons and really benefits from it. What on earth are the council trying to achieve by doing this?? Maybe they will realise when everyone boycotts the place!

I am horrified by the decision of this council to disenfranchise the people that they are supposed to be looking after. I am totally opposed to the punitive and draconian measures they are proposing. The council are unable to meet the demand for swimming lessons, and this will limit swimming lessons to the luck few who manage to bag the ones the council have available. This is not only a life skill but a health issue and by imposing these measures the council are neglecting their duty of care to their ratepayers.

what harm are these people causing by providing children with swimming lessons? I don't understand!

Preserve private swimming lessons the only people your hurting is the kids and the pool is being used for something good. Teaching the children to become better swimmers.

New super council is not at all super as far as I am concerned. No consultation with ratepayers and users of the service at all.

I strongly oppose this proposal, my grandchildren and friends children all benefit from 1-1 swimming lessons. Is this the way the new council will be operating?
