I do not agree the proposal is reasonable and I do not believe that big retailers and mega stores and sprawling light industrial, light commercial is a suitable thing for this town

Our wildlife corridors and habitats need to be preserved for the benefit of the animals that live and thrive there. They cannot just move somewhere else. They are dependent on their traditional habitats and pathways. The residents of Kyneton have a responsibility to preserve what is there.

My property is also on Post Office Creek, if this effects the wonderful wildlife we have in the area then "NO" to Bunnings and Mc Donalds. I am happy to drive it or train it to Bendigo as i have been doing.

I moved here last year in June to get away from a McDonalds and Bunnings due to traffic and rubbish pollution. I don’t want to move again! McDonalds just provides heaps of litter as people don’t care for the environment.

If you feel something must be built on the land,then wouldn't be much better to build a tafe with a horticultural depth and an agricultural depth included.
That way many young people will benefit not just now but into the future.
A conference hall could also be built to accommodate a large variety of meetings, educational seminars and music..
So much better than the current proposal which will destroy our existing country town..

Protection of waterways, creation of green town spaces & natural environs is critical to our flora & fauna which are under threat. The creation of walkways / cycle paths for people to recreate & connect between town and other natural assets and tourist attractions is critical to preserving our sense of community & promoting this area as a much loved tourist destination.

Not only is it essential that we protect this waterway area, I also don't think we understand or know enough about our Indigenous histories in this area and it is crucial that it is protected now.
