Tourism is vital to Kyneton. People flee the city to unwind and relax in Kyneton and surrounds. Nature plays a big part in that. Kyneton must preserve its rural aspect, it’s heritage feel, it’s indigenous history, it’s locally grown produce and it’s vibrant arts scene. Open space, fresh air, good food and wine and creativity are what people come for. It is critical to rehabilitate and preserve areas like Post Office Creek to enhance Kyneton’s natural assets.

A walking / cycling track to Black Hill makes such good sense. Edgecombe Rd isn't safe for pedestrians or cyclists. We have such extraordinary natural assets here that we should profile and celebrate.

Great to see this space rejuvenated, with opportunities such as walking paths linking through to the sun east of Kyneton

In Melbourne’s west, where we lived, you couldn’t let your kids anywhere near the creeks. Don’t let that be us soon. They’re so precious. We need to be forward thinkers.

This area is so special for so many reasons ( cultural significance, wildlife habitat etc) and I feel strongly that it should be protected for all to enjoy.

We live on one of the driest continents on earth and are one of the countries that will be most deeply effected by climate change. We must act NOW and protect existing waterways.

Fantastic idea. This area is a gateway to some valuable nearby reserves. Making that area beautiful is really important. It would be great if this could join up with the river walk which already exists along the Campaspe River.

This reserve could be a great asset for the benefit and use of Kyneton and district residents. A great look for our northern gateway.
