A "Gun Free Zone" sign is essentially a conveniently placed target for a shooter(s). Armed teachers and staff training will stop this insanity. Just like fast food restaurants, Starbucks, etc. Any business that is unconcerned with my safety, doesn't get my $$$. Parents need to feel the same about their children. Schools are responsible for the safety of them. Make sure that they do it right

I support the idea of the POST program. I would lime to see this program in every school in my area. And especially in the school I work in.

I'm glad someone is doing this. I can't understand mom's wanting their kids to be in schools that have a target on their backs saying ' If you want to shoot people - come here! We are unprotected and helpless! Just lots of people in confined spaces to shoot. Easy, peasy!'

This seems like a no-brainer to me. Of course, some think this is a horrible idea. If people would get past their politics, they would see guns in schools are a necessity because of the changing and violent times we live in

Palestinian terrorists regularly attacked Israeli schools until the government allowed the staff to be armed. Then the attacks stopped. Terrorists do not like to have victims shoot back.

Common sense demands that we provide effective measures of protection for our children. P.O.S.T. program makes perfect sense.

What's being done now is obviously not working. "Gun Free Zones" are killing zones. I want my grandchildren truly protected. Time for a new way to deal with their safety that will undoubtedly work.
