Recent research shows that migration corridors don't only function as pipelines moving animals from seasonal range to seasonal range, they are crucial habitats themselves. If we want the largest, most productive herds we can have, we need to protect migratory populations. To do so, we need to protect migration corridors. It's that cut and dry.

Leave our public lands be!!! Cheney You Have No Right To Offer Up Our Lands To Oil/Gas/Coal!! The roads and land deplete the nail rice species so much some NEVER recover. Think about our kids future not your future of getting an extra $100,000 in your pocket to take OUR LAND!

Loss of migration corridors will lead to severe population declines. Restoring migration routes may take decades to centuries. If we are to protect wildlife population in Wyoming we need to protect their habitats and migration routes!

Wyoming is one of the last places where we have these wild, long distance ungulate migrations. We have a great oil and gas industry, we need to make sure these things can coexist. Many other states have energy resources, but no other place has wildlife resources like we do in our backyard.

In the current political climate, I see no reason to trust lease notices alone, particularly when dealing with the energy industry. We need provisions that are legally-enforceable and strike a fair balance between the habitat needs of wildlife and corporate exploitation of public lands.

I am very opposed to opening up the Red Desert to oil and gas leases. The Red Desert is one of the few gems in the world that is pure and natural. It needs to be protected AS IS at all costs. Please abandoned the idea of leases.

Mule deer populations in the upper Green River Basin have been down by over 50% for the past 15+ years since gas development has ramped up. Placing further obstacles and stress on this already compromised population is the absolute wrong thing to do. Gas development is OK as long as it protects other values as well.

There are plenty of public lands available for oil and gas development by energy companies. Please stop the sale of additional public land resources, including additional leases, in critical migration corridors and crucial winter range.

Oil & Gas Drilling is the backbone of WY economy, but the Oil Companies need to be mindful of multiple use of public lands & the needs of all WY wildlife whether it's Mule Deer or Wild Horses!
