Protect Our Green Belt - Holmeswood Park / Townsend Fold / New Hall Hey

Protect Green spaces...this is more important now than ever before!

The GMSF is an insult, especially in the middle of a pandemic, the final result of which nobody knows.

There’s loads of brown field sites

Please keep the green space

We should not even have to do this or protest against building on any green belt land

I live adjoining the proposed building site .

An area which has for the last 20-30 years been used and kept as a rural walking/picnic area which in turn has become extremely popular.

We must save our finite green belt for others. Now.

It's so important to keep our green fields to support our mental health

Wildlife habitat needs to be protected and people need the oportunity to enjoy nature for their physical and mental health.

We have to stop the attacks on greenbelt land before it is too late.

I support this petition.

I object to further development due to lack of infrastructure and the over development of green belt land in the area

I've used this area for 30+ years for recreation. Its steadily got worse over that time maybe this is why.

It will destroy an area full of diverse wildlife.

This area must be protected. It’s one of the jewels in Rossendale’s crown.

Stop the sprawl.

If lockdown has taught us anything it is the importance of green spaces, so do the right thing and put the benefits of retaining this lovely area before profit.
