Access to green space is vital for our mental and physical health, and is being lost at an alarming rate in the valley. This valuable and much used space should not be used for industrial purposes

We don’t want to live on an industrial estate. We strongly object to the building of these units.

Keep our green belt safe. These areas are so important to wildlife and our community.

This area should remain intact. It is used frequently by me and my partner and to develop the land would be a step in the wrong direction. We should be preserving green space rather than build on every inch of it. Absolutely unnecessary to deem this land for industrial use.

Save this land which has been a treasured wild life and walking area for generations.I remember walking regularly as a child through those fields.

Green belt should be just that! What happens if green belt is chipped away and there is none left! More Brown land should be used first.

This is a beautiful area and during lockdown and in the summer months we have walked this route most days. It has totally supported and has been critical to our mental health and well being. I strongly object to this planned development on environmental and social grounds. Please STOP as this is another example of our green belt and green space being lost forever.

You can’t take away a piece of community that families have enjoyed for generations. Stop trying to ruin rossendale a valley and find derelict land sites to build on instead. Or make use of old buildings. Soon there will be no countryside left!
