This is an important part of the Irwell riverside path and should not be lost to big industry. If anything more of the path should be restored to make it useable in all weathers.

We need to protect our wild life. Without more schools. Doctors & dentists our town does not need more houses.

Destroying are beautiful countryside and habitats in rossendale is not the answer, why not try and refurbish the failing town centre of rawtenstall !!

Save this beautiful walkway down by the river , the last part of this area long been a recreational area fir Rossendale families , most of it gone now to industrial buildings . One of the only flat areas in the valley for people to enjoy a riverside walk so near the town , everywhere else ha hills and steep paths ! Please don’t take the only remaining area of the now lost ... Cow lane , Swanney lodge Jungle homes ..... could go on and on ! Save this site !
