We use this as it's the only level walk near here!

This is a step too far in losing our greenbelt and could have serious impacts on health and wellbeing of local residents as well as a negative impact on tourism in the Valley.

This development must not be allowed, there is still much brown belt land in Rawtenstall that is unused and derelict,

This is Green Belt Land and so popular with families and Dog walkers. Rossendale Borough Council should be ashamed of themselves even considering this.

We need to save our countryside. There is only one main road in and out and we already have too much traffic congestion in Rawtenstall centre.

The greenbelt should be protected. This land is of much importance to so many people, children, parents, those who are retired. It is very much used and industrial building will spoil both this and the scenery for the local people of Rawtenstall.

It is about time this council stopped turning Rossendale into a concrete jungle

This green space is used by many to enjoy its natural beauty, being able to relax by its river, with its unspoiled views. Changing its status and building on this land will also impact the wildlife that have set residence here too.

It’s important we keep the green belt in Rossendale for history the public and protection of the wildlife. There is enough industrial sites around we don’t need any more, look at using brown site land there is plenty of it. No excuses get a grip council.

So important that we keep as much of Rossendale valleys beautiful green lanscape for our children to play, nature walks etc. I have some fantastic memories playing down here when I was a child, I cant believe they want to change this to a bypass! Shocking!

I walk down there regularly whatever the weather or season and I love it. Will be devastating, disgusting and wrong in lots of ways to take this off us. Already have had a path blocked when building Screwfix that went from groundwork to the bypass.

This would be devistating to Rawtenstall. That walk is beautiful. They don't need to build this monstrosity. Piss off and build it else where.
