Those in power have got to get their heads around the idea of conservation and maintaining what we have if we are to have any chance of saving humans let alone other species

Don't destroy this beautiful piece of land. It's a haven for all sorts of wildlife. People have been walking down here for years and years. It's a fabulous area and so serene. Building a monstrosity of an industrial unit will just ruin the area

I regularly walk around this area, not just now, but for over 20 years.. I do not wish to see our green spaces further reduced here.

There are plenty of existing brownfield sites that can be developed with less impact on the environment, flora and fauna in the area.

Rossendale isn’t short of brownfield sites to build on, so why build on the green belt?

I strongly oppose this project. This area is used by my whole family for exercise and recreation. It would be devastating to us if we lost it. The wildlife in the area would suffer too.

Beautiful section of greenbelt that wild deer are often seen grazing on. A green entrance gateway to Rawtenstall - please don't put another grey monstrosity of a building on it.

Surely there's other land available in the vicinity which will have lesser impact ?

Is there a demand for businesses wanting units ?I'm sure there are plenty of empty units in Rossendale
