The long term strength of Welsh rugby is dependent on the quality and strength of the game below international level. It is at regional level that players develop and all true rugby followers of all ages want to see our developing and top players play here in Wales. Welsh rugby is not just about the national side and the cash cow that is the Millennium Stadium. There must be adequate negotiation and compromise to ensure that rugby below national level does not wither and die: because if it does, the way back will not be easy. The WRU finds money when it wants to, like £3m+ on the VIP refurbishment at the MS. Stop the aggression and help save the game in Wales (unless your focus is to be the pop concerts on the new turf you have at last found the money to provide!).

We the supporters need to be listened to. We have embraced regional rugby since 2003, and spent a lot of time and money investing in the regional game. We must have a voice.

Regions are growing with a younger fan base don't waste 10 yrs of work and another 10yrs getting clubs up to a profesional standard.

As a lifetime Welsh Rugby fan, I'm dismayed to see the turmoil we are currently in. The UN has liberated lesser dictatorships. Regions being held to ransom by a man whose understanding of rugby is limited to debt management and shows absolutely no compassion for our game below National level. As fans we have embraced and grown a ten year affinity with our region, we have helped build it with our hard earned money, we've helped develop it with our young and we have most certainly supported it with all our passion. Roger, what you need to understand is the fan base is there, the derby days prove this. We just need meaningful fixtures and the base funding to mount a challenge. History provides us with a fantastic sporting rivalry, that is sadly not in the Rabo12, no. We need to be competing in the Aviva. A league with competition. Teams we'd love to see visit, away travel that will help fill our grounds, commercial superiority and above all. INTEREST. This Roger is not only for our benefit. It WILL provide a top flight that our elite WILL want to compete in and it WILL deliver far a far higher revenue. If you can't see this. I'm afraid you're in the wrong game and any dignity you have left would now be searching for David Moffets phone number just after it had filed your resignation #SaveOurRegions #UniteAndFight @vanguff4

Regional rugby must be supported to keep the talent coming through. Youngsters are not going to watch any product below international level if our top players are lost through insufficient funding.

Fair compensation for the use of Regional players, so that meaningful competition can still take place when our stars are away with team Wales, is a reasonable start for negotiation. If the WRU are unable or unwilling to offer this, then untie the strings please!

the union needs to get off its arse and ensure the regions have the £ to keep te best players. without our players at club and regional level how the hell does the union think its going to get the next generation of players for the national team?
