If the church wants to buy the street, all we can do is push back. My freedom of expression, religion, and speech are important too and if I decide I want to exercise those rights in Manti, then I should be allowed to. This petition is important and you have my signature. I will be praying for Manti until this decision is made. The Christians who attend should have their voices heard as well. God bless.

This is clearly a deliberate and collusive attempt by the Manti City Council and the LdS Church to limit the free speech of others.
It is the duty of all US citizens and external governing bodies to counteract this shameful and cynical abuse of power.

My question is what does the church have to be afraid of? The Christians who gather on this street are not antagonistic we simply speak the truth and have great civil conversations. I think them buying the street takes away freedom of speech and should not be tolerated by any church or business.

Its a public street not a mormon street
