Protect Our Constitutional Rights in Manti, Utah

Will there be an open bid on the sale? Because it's public property, that should be a necessary part of the process.

I am from Seattle, WA and have been to the Meantime Mormon Miracle Pageant four times.

I am the pastor's wife at Ephraim Church of the Bible in Sanpete County and have been to the Manti Pageant outreach for 15 years.

I live in Canon City, Colorado. I have attended the Manti Pageant twice.

The sale of this street would be an obvious and blatant attempt to suppress freedom of speech that has gone on in this public arena for many years. This is America, not a totalitarian state. Please preserve this traditional public forum. Even if you want it to function as a park instead of a street, it is essential that the City maintain ownership.

I have attended the manti petition once discuss to exercise my first amendment right.

This is a violation of our first ammendment rights.

I have attended the manti pageant street for free speech for 2 years now and would hope that our constitutional rights remain in effect so that we can continue to practice free speech on this street. I am from PA but visit UT frequently.

The LDS church has been okay with not owning the streets for this long, so it's obvious the only reason they are doing so is to mute conversations people have on the streets during pageant. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I live in Iowa. I lived in Ephraim Utah for one year and attended the pageant. I enjoyed many conversations on this street that will no longer be allowed to happen if this sale goes through.

Mormons want too much control!

I grew up here and use that public street to exercise my freedom of speech. The Mormon church shouldn't be allowed to take away that freedom
