I'm surprised that people have not brought up the issue of"Separation of Church and State". Even though it is widely misrepresented, it may have application to this situation.

I am from Iowa and have attended the pageant on the first week it was held in 2015. Public streets should not be privately owned.

I have lived in Sanpete County for 25 years and I not only want to protect freedom of speech for all, but also the freedom to be able to get into meaningful conversation and new friendships. No church organization should have to right to buy PUBLIC property where they take away the rights from citizens.

I live in San Antonio, Texas and came to the pageant in Manti for the first time in 2008. I also attended every year from 2010 to 2014. I have enjoyed having conversations with people from all over the United States and even Australia in the street next to the Temple. Please protect free speech by keeping this street public. Please uphold the US constitution.
