Something absolutely needs to be done! Crime and drug use is at an all time high, the garbage piling up a huge disgrace to our community. I believe our elected officials are more concerned about the homeless, then protecting our businesses and the hard working people of Tacoma.

As a muli generational family and businesses of Tacoma, we have witnessed this degrading of our wonderful City and the pro-active community policing we once were recognized nationally for. We have got to say enough and get our safe and vibrant streets back...

Thanks for sharing and taking action. I agree that Tacoma residents and businesses cannot thrive in a community that lacks basic core public safety measures. I do NOT agree with Item # 4 in any way re: using any tax dollars to "help" those who choose to be homeless. Let's set our sights higher and support WORKING folks and families instead.

Good order is a prerequisite to compassion. Just go to any meeting: before you begin, the meeting must be called to order. Only then can you discuss and solve problems. Civic order is a prerequisite to the efforts of compassion...without order, compassion won't be effective.

I’m losing hope that our leaders will do what is necessary to improve the lives of law abiding citizens and save Tacoma from getting even worse. I hope I am wrong and those in charge will take notice and take action before it’s too late.

The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members. Jesus does not approve of your attitude.

How about supporting a society where people don’t end up homeless? Ever thought of that? The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members. Jesus does not approve of your attitude.
