This social experiment has gone far enough and it is time that we find our way back to being a society of law and order.

For those of us who have passionately pursued the renaissance of Tacoma, investing financially and culturally in our community, we expect city leadership to provide the services and safety support that allows our community to function, let alone thrive. The City of Tacoma leadership is either unaware or incapable of meeting this crisis we are experiencing, We can hope it is a matter of awareness and there will be an engagement with the community to find solutions. It's time City of Tacoma leadership steps up or steps aside and let others provide the community we deserve.

Change is needed in order to do all the things we need to do to keep us a healthy city. Services and support are a part, but so is public safety. I hope folks take notice.

Clean up our city now. Enforce laws now. Hire more law enforcement. Protect law abiding citizens now. Enough is enough.

Zero reason why Pt D shouldn’t have a full time cop on mts out in that park.

We do not want to become Seattle. Tacoma was becoming increasingly attractive as a place to live. Public safety, including support of and empowering the police is vital. Thank you.

We need to stop the lawlessness and garbage caused by this problem. It's inhumane. Don't allow Tacoma to become what we see in other cities, where it is out of control and even a bigger problem.

Immediate action is needed in order to save our businesses and civic institutions. Tourism is diminishing and people are transacting their business elsewhere. Citizens are afraid to come into the core of the City. City revenues will reflect these loses. I look to the City to provide leadership before it is too late.

I agree 100% with the statements in this petition. What good are our tax dollars if they are not going toward a safe, sanitary, and SANE environment.

I have Been a Tacoma booster for 40 years. I do not care for the new look. Tent villages and a ridiculous amount of trash associated. Breakneck down motor homes parked on streets with lean-to tarps attached. And no way should we be de-funding police at this time. Thank you
